Masoud is the founder of Ostanes Ventures, the parent studio for Ostanes Intelligence and Ostanes Horizons, with venture building as a forthcoming line. He has 18+ years across deep-tech innovation strategy, intellectual property analysis, and venture creation, working at the seam where technical truth meets commercial decision.
Most recently he led innovation strategy and corporate venture investment for a £100M technology portfolio, with an £8M annual innovation budget across AI, IoT, fintech, and adjacent deep-tech. He has co-founded three startups including Statooth, an AI-driven Dentistry 4.0 venture, and is Tech Nation Global Talent endorsed by the UK government as a recognised exceptional talent in digital technology.
His patent analysis discipline began earlier, in 2011, building IP strategy frameworks for nanotechnology companies. The recognition that IP strategy needs scientific validation, not just legal analysis, planted the seed for what eventually became Ostanes Intelligence.
Ostanes Ventures is the synthesis of those two threads: fifteen years of innovation-portfolio work, and a decade and a half of asking whether the patents underlying those portfolios could survive contact with first-principles physics.
